Finance and Logistics Professional
Aesop USA inc. is a fully owned subsidiary of Aesop, with offices in Manhattan. We are seeking a Full Time Finance and Logistics professional reporting directly to the General Manager for the Americas, to support the continued growth and expansion plans of Aesop in North America.
The ideal candidate will provide an efficient, streamlined, and highly professional financial and commercial service to Aesop USA inc including responsibility for the financial and management accounting within the US, as well as end to end Logistics support from overseeing the wholesale and retail ordering to working with third party logistics providers. The role also requires providing assistance to management on practical business matters such as local cash-flow and CAPEX management as well as general commercial support.
The successful candidate will have:
- Basic bookkeeping background (accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, liaising with third party accountants)
- Familiarity with systems such as Retail Pro, Quickbooks
- An analytical mind and a head for numbers
- Experience in inventory management/control
- A general knowledge of supply chain
- A history of being resourceful and team-focused

Aesop has stores in some of Manhattan's favourite locations including Nolita and University Place. We require Retail Consultants to communicate warmly and intelligently with users of our unique line of skin, hair and body care. Successful applicants will have a demonstrated ability to engage with and respond to people, a positive attitude, and a keenness to understand the world of Aesop. You must be willing to work in multiple locations, commit to no less than two days per week and have full authorization to work in the United States.
